My son graduated from Basic Training with the Air Force! oooh RAH! I’m so proud of him, he did really really well! For the drive down, I took a route that took us to Biloxi, MS so that I could see Keesler again, my old tech school. It was all surreal seeing that and being on Lackland AFB again. Good memories!
He’s heading towards that building lol. Seriously, he was like 20 feet tall!
But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love them so much!
To say that we feel passionate about this particular case would be an understatement. Both of us were drug through the mud because of our “lifestyle”. It changed our relationship, it changed us, but more importantly…it changed our children. So we took today off and jumped on Metro at the crack of dawn and walked to the Supreme Court. By the way…it was FREEZING cold! The atmosphere was jovial, minus the protestors across the street but even with that it felt wonderful to be there. I know Ms. Windsor knows we were all there to support her, but I hope that the young people that were there, the ones who couldn’t attend, the ones who have just come out, and the ones still struggling know that us old folks…we’re here. We get it, we understand, we love you and yeah, as cliche as it is…tomorrow DOES get better. Trust us.

My stepdaughter is here for Christmas so we took the girls to DC and went to the National Museum of American History.
